Casa Lavanda Guest House
Rafael and Inés Castellanos keep four suites on their land outside Fredericksburg. Each one has a king bed, a soaking tub and a private patio facing the Hill Country, and the lavender rows run right past the doors. Wineries on Highway 290 are a few minutes down the road.
Anniversary and proposal packages
Tell us the date and we will have the bottle waiting in the suite and the flowers set out before you arrive. Ask for the proposal package and we will keep the whole thing quiet.
Four suites, each with a king bed, a soaking tub and a patio of its own.

There are four suites and no online booking engine. Call or email with your dates and we will tell you which suites are open and hold one for you.
From the guest book
Breakfast arrived at eight exactly, still hot, and we ate it on the patio watching the light come up over the hills. Inés left a note about which wineries were pouring that weekend, and she was right about all three.
Breakfast
Migas, peach and pecan French toast, local sausage and fresh tortillas, with coffee, brought to your suite at whatever hour you ask for. Tell us the night before and it is there.
Wineries on Highway 290 are minutes away, and a massage can come to your suite. We will mark the tasting rooms we send guests to on a map at check-in.
Tasting rooms start a few minutes down the road. We will tell you which ones are pouring and how to get back without driving.
Tell us the day and we will arrange for a therapist to come to your suite in the afternoon.
Every suite has its own patio facing the Hill Country, with two chairs and a table on it.
